The popular cat in the Caddy Cat Cafe Murder mysteries.
If you ask anyone about these murder mysteries, they can name Gabby and Kit. No one knows who I am, and I wrote the series. Eye roll.
I digress, this IS all about Gabby.
I love Gabby. She is an awesome cat with quick wit, an adorable face, and cute piglet feet but she is also snarky and talks a lot.
Did I mention she talks a lot?
Gabby is about seven pounds but she has the personality of a Queen Bee. We all have become her followers, her fans, her humans.
We are below her tiny feet and if we could get low enough to the ground, she would probably ask us to kiss them.
Gabby says exactly what she wants and she says what we tend to think.
This is why we love her.
Plus, she is so adorable and squishy. I mean really adorable.
Once you get to know Gabby you can’t help but fall in love. I did, and I am blessed that she hangs out in my head. For the most part.
But now we have to make her happy. Yes, I said we.
You created this little monster by giving her attention. Now we must feed the seven-pound beast. She is mad that I called her a beast.
if you want to make her happy, be her fan. Just don’t get mad if she is snarky. That is the Gabby way.

Gabby-ism
The world according to Gabby
- Gabby loves attention but hates to be bothered. Except for Brian, she loves Brian.
- She hates to be picked up. Until the head pets start.
- She loves popcorn. Ok. I lied, she hates popcorn.
- She thinks most humans are dumb. She is a smart cat.
- Her favorite food is tuna.
- She loves catnip. A little too much.
- Her best buddy is Brian but Kit comes in second because she can hear her talk. You would think I would be her best friend since she lives in my head. Nope.
- Her best cat friend? She won’t tell me. She is afraid they will read the blog and be mad if they weren’t picked. Insert second eye roll here.
- Her favorite toy this week is a tube sock. Yes, a dirty cat-sized tube sock. She lives at a Cat Cafe that has a store right in the main area called Kitty Cat Collectibles. It’s literally ten feet from where she sleeps. They sell brand-new toys. Nope.
- Her favorite thing in the world? Brian and Catnip. Ok, she also loves meowing at her fans. Her humans. Did I mention she thinks we are dumb? Insert third eye roll here.
This blog was kinda approved by Gabby. She has issues with my commentary and the multiple eye rolls.

Gabby’s Bits Blog Posts
Gabby says “Hi.” The pounding of my head and the strain in my neck are not from stress or sitting in my office chair, not today. It’s from Gabby. She has been pushing “her” book and wants it released now. This is a constant conversation. Everyday. Gabby is becoming a starzilla! Here’s our conversation. “What…
Gabby is more than a name!
Gabby says “Hi.” She is upset. Shock and surprise. Not! Gabby just found out something that has made her upset. We are in the process of holding a contest for Spin Cat and this brought up the subject of names. Now she doesn’t like spin-cat so this has already got her whiskers in a bunch. I have…
Gabby is ready for the launch party!
Gabby says “Hi.” She is so excited about the book launch. Her tail held high as she pranced around looking all cute. She even allowed me to give her a scarf for her Gabby Bits Newsletter. She doesn’t like the scarf but knows she needs to look nice. Gabby had a few sad days when…
Gabby is officially a bandit
Gabby says “Hi.” She’s irritated again. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to start this blog with her being happy unless Brian quits the cafe so she can have all of his attention. But, since she’s in my head and he’s in a story, that’s impossible. She doesn’t understand that. As an indy author,…
Gabby Bits really bites
Gabby says “Hi.” I think I mentioned how upset Gabby was over the title of this email series. She is still upset. I told her she can’t control everything, especially the stuff in my head. She sometimes blurs the line between being at the Cat Cafe and being in my head. She thinks I am…
Lovely is not a word
Gabby has something to say It was a cold morning so I decided to get some extra writing done. I was working on a scene in the second book of the Caddy Cat Cafe series. I was writing dialogue that included Gabby. It was a sweet conversation between Kit and her. Gabby moved in over…
