You’re probably aware that I was planning on releasing Caturday Knife Special on April 21, 2023
Well, now I am not.
The release date and the launch party is postponed
Yes, I had to kill my release date and the Zoom launch party.
It’s temporary but it doesn’t mean I’m not sad, disappointed, and a little embarrassed.
I’m new to all this publishing stuff, and I assumed I could get it all done in a month.
That was rather cocky, and dumb. Gabby is nodding her head.
I didn’t take into account the time constraints of other people, the process involved in uploading to all the vendors along with their demands, and delays.
I also didn’t consider the delay in changing tax information…in April. Duh.
See, I am still a hypnotist but my main business account has changed. The IRS, who was very nice gave me a timeline of 90-100 days from February. That’s on the generous side.
So, I had to push it forward…or back.
Lesson learned.
I do apologize. I know many of you are really excited and I appreciate the enthusiasm. I’m excited about the release too. Now, I’m just trying to wrap my head around the fact that it’s not happening when I wanted it to. Sigh. Yes, Gabby is not happy either.
We will cuddle on the couch later and watch a good murder mystery. Always makes us happy. Oh, she said she will deny cuddling except with Brian.
Just as I told Gabby, we just have to wait a little while longer.
When IS the release?
I am hesitant to give a date because of this recent situation.
But I promise I will give you all the information you need as soon as everything is in order.
Oh, Gabby thinks the dog did it. I keep telling her no, but she swears she heard barking and a collar rattling.
I promised her I would look into it. But she thinks I am incapable of solving a murder right now.
She is off to investigate. She told me that I am not like Kit who solved the murder at the Cat Cafe, and my job is only to write and leave the sleuthing to the professionals.
I will post more soon, and I know Gabby will have a lot more to say as well. She already does.
